Simple Urdu for QuranRecord
We have made QuranRecord available in very simple Urdu. We avoided complex words and tried to keep the language as easy and understandable as possible, so that more users can benefit from it.
Regarding the reciting method, we have renamed:
- Lesson → Sabaq
- Repetition → Sabqi
- Revision → Manzil
If you have already set a reciting method for your school, the same method will continue to apply.
We are always happy to receive feedback from you. If you find any words difficult to understand or notice any mistakes, please contact us.
Thank you for being with us and supporting QuranRecord!
Additional Improvements in QuranRecord
We have implemented several updates to make your experience with QuranRecord easier and more convenient:
- During signup, you can now request multiple activation links if you didn’t receive one initially, ensuring a smoother registration process.
- When editing a student profile, you can now add the father’s name (optional). This is especially helpful if you have multiple students with the same name or want to include it for accurate record-keeping.
These small but important updates are designed to simplify your workflow and enhance overall usability.
Custom Reciting Methods in QuranRecord
We are excited to announce a new feature that allows you to create your own reciting methods in QuranRecord. Instead of using the default terms like Lesson, Repetition, and Revision, you can now rename them according to your school’s needs. All previous records will automatically reflect your new names.
You can use any language, such as Arabic, Urdu, or English. For example, you can rename them as Sabaq, Sabqi, Manzil, Parasabaq, Amaghta, or any terms that best suit your teaching style.
Furthermore, if you manage multiple schools using QuranRecord, making these changes in one school will automatically apply to all other schools, saving you time and effort.
Please note that you need to be actively using QuranRecord for at least a month to access these features. Watch the instructional videos in Urdu or English to learn how to use them effectively.
My School, My Setup
We are excited to introduce "My School, My Setup" in QuranRecord, allowing you to customize the platform to meet your school’s specific requirements. This feature is designed to make QuranRecord more aligned with your institution’s expectations, workflows, and preferences.
We are working diligently to bring more enhancements under the "My School, My Setup" category, so you can expect more updates and tools to make management and tracking even easier.

Interface Update: Streamlined Features
We have made an important update to the QuranRecord interface to make it cleaner and more user-friendly. The "Add Group Record" button has been disabled by default and will now be available only if the school specifically requests this feature.
With this change, you will now see only the features you need in QuranRecord, ensuring a streamlined and efficient interface for teachers, management, and parents.
New Record Feature: Add by Juz Quarter
We are excited to introduce an enhancement in QuranRecord that makes adding new records even faster. You can now add a record using a quarter of a Juz. Each Juz is divided into four nearly equal quarters, called:
- Ruba (first quarter)
- Nisf (second quarter)
- Thuluth (third quarter)
- Ruba' al-Akhir (fourth quarter)
Currently, this feature is available only if you are using the IndoPak Quran. We are actively working to bring the same functionality to the Uthmani Quran soon.
This enhancement is designed to save time and make record-keeping even more efficient for teachers and management.
Add Group Records in QuranRecord
We are excited to introduce a new feature in QuranRecord that allows you to add a record for a group of students in one click. This is especially useful for schools where all students are studying the same lesson, such as a Surah of the Quran or a chapter of Qa'idah, eliminating the need to add records individually for each student.
To use this feature, ensure that all selected students are either from Qa'idah or Quran. If they are using different versions of the Quran, like the Uthmani Quran or IndoPak Quran, you can still add a group record by specifying the chapter and verses. If all students are using the same Quran, you can select either Juz or Chapter.
Here’s how it works:
- Go to your class, and scroll down to the bottom to find the "Add Group Record" button.
- Click the button, and another button will appear allowing you to select the group of students. You can choose either Qa'idah or Quran students, or select individual students.
- Once selected, click "Record Selected Students". This will take you to the "Add New Record" page, similar to the one used for individual student records.
- On this page, select Chapter Start, Verse Start, Chapter End, Verse End, and Reciting Method.
- If you want to notify parents, select the "Email Parent" option.
- You can also assign homework to all selected students at once by writing it in the "Remarks" section.
- Finally, click "Save Record", and your group record is complete!
This powerful new feature saves time, ensures consistency in recording lessons, and allows teachers and management to efficiently track progress for multiple students at once.
