View and Download Attendance Reports — Now Up to 1 Year
Assalam-o-Alaikum,
We have made an update to the View and Download Attendance feature in QuranRecord.
Previously, you could view and download attendance records for up to 3 months. With this update, you can now view and download attendance records for up to 1 full year.
Simply select your desired date range, and then choose one of the following options:
Search by Date:
View your class attendance day by day, including how many students were present, absent, or excused on each day.
Search by Student:
View attendance student by student. You can see all students in the class, including students who have left the class, and see how many days each student was present, absent, or excused during the selected date range.
After completing either search, you will see a Download PDF button. Click the button and follow the instructions to generate and download your attendance report as a PDF.
Add Old Recitation Records
Controllers | Teachers | All Languages
Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to introduce a new feature in QuranRecord that gives teachers greater flexibility when managing missed recitation records.
Previously, teachers could only add recitation records for today, yesterday, and the day before yesterday. If a record was missed due to a long weekend, Eid holidays, travel, illness, or any other valid reason, it could no longer be added.
With this update, teachers can now add old recitation records for up to the past 60 days, provided the feature has been enabled by the School Controller.
How It Works
To maintain the accuracy and integrity of student records, this feature is managed by the School Controller.
- The School Controller can enable Allow Adding Old Records from the Manage Class page.
- Once enabled, the teacher will see a new Add Old Record button on the Add Record page.
- The teacher can then select any date within the previous 60 days and add the student's recitation record as usual.
5-Day Access Window
To ensure the accuracy and security of student records, access to this feature is temporary.
Once the School Controller enables Allow Adding Old Records, the teacher has 5 days to add any missing recitation records. During this period, the teacher can add records for any date within the previous 60 days.
After the 5-day period expires, the feature is automatically disabled. If additional old recitation records need to be entered later, the teacher must contact the School Controller again, who can re-enable the feature for another 5-day period.
This approach provides teachers with the flexibility to correct missed records while ensuring that student recitation history remains accurate, secure, and well managed.
We pray that this update makes record management easier for schools and teachers around the world.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your continued support, valuable feedback, and trust in QuranRecord.
