New Account Comparison Page
Assalamu Alaikum,
We have added a new page for account comparison on https://www.quranrecord.com/comparison/ Users can now see the differences between the four types of accounts we offer in QuranRecord.
First, the self account: this is for users who create an account without belonging to any private group or school.
Second, the private teacher account: this is for teachers who create a group to manage their students.
Third, the school account: for users who have a single Quran school.
Fourth, the jurisdiction account: for users overseeing multiple schools or branches, allowing access to all from one account.
To explore all these features, visit the new page. It clearly outlines which features are available for each account type.
Please note that to access this page, you must use a web browser such as Chrome. The page cannot be accessed through the mobile app, so please make sure to open it in your browser for full functionality.
Jazakallah Khair.
Update to Student Management Page
We have modified the Student Management page to make it easier for school management. They can now filter students based on their status, whether a student is active or has left the school. This allows for quick and easy searching within both the active student group and the XStudent group. This improvement will streamline student management tasks and help the team find any student with ease.
Modification to the Records Page
We have made a significant modification to the QuranRecord page. Parents can now view their child’s Quran record even if the child has left the school, as long as the profile remains active at the school. While the profile is active, parents can filter all records, even after the child has left.
Additionally, school management now also has the ability to filter records for XStudents. This ensures continued access and organization for both parents and the school.
New Parent Filter for QuranJourney Records
We have added a new upgrade to the QuranJourney. Parents can now filter their child's QuranJourney from home. A new field has been introduced, enabling parents to filter and view records they have posted. Once applied, all records will display in the correct Qur'anic order within the QuranJourney.
Additionally, you can still view the QuranJourney even if your child has left the school. To access the QuranJourney after your child leaves, please ask the school to keep the profile active, so you can access your child’s Quran records whenever needed. To use this feature, visit the QuranJourney section in your child’s profile.
Celebrate Ramadan by Counting Hasanah with QuranRecord
This Ramadan, we wanted to give you a gift that shows you the true, unimaginable value of your child’s relationship with the Quran. We are overjoyed to announce a beautiful new feature on QuranRecord: The Hasanah!
Open your child’s profile and prepare to be amazed. You will now see, in real-time, the millions of Hasanah they have earned through their beautiful recitations. Millions! And this, dear parents and teachers, is just the beginning. It is the minimum guaranteed reward, a tangible glimpse into the infinite mercy of Allah (SWT).
The Beautiful Math Behind the Reward:
Remember the incredible promise of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who taught us:
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: '[Whoever recites a letter] from Allah's Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.'”
(Sunan at-Tirmidhi: 2910)
QuranRecord now brings this beautiful Hadith to life. QuranRecord calculates the Hasanah earned from every recitation, making it easy for you to see how every effort contributes to your child’s journey with the Quran. We don't just see words; we see the countless letters that build their journey. And for every single one of those letters, we multiply it by ten, giving you a minimum total of the blessings they have accumulated.
On the dashboard, you can see the complete Hasanah earned by all your family members together. For teachers and schools, this is even more inspiring:
- The class dashboard shows the total Hasanah earned by all students in your class
- The school dashboard displays the total Hasanah distributed by your school
- The network page shows the total Hasanah earned across all schools under your jurisdiction, especially if you manage multiple schools
QuranRecord does not just give ordinary points like other websites. These are real, meaningful rewards, reflecting your child’s dedication and love for the Quran. Every time a teacher adds a new record for your child, you can immediately see how much Hasanah has been earned for that day.
This Ramadan, let the numbers inspire you, but let the meaning behind them fill your hearts with peace. Watch your child’s spiritual bank account grow and know that every single letter is a lasting investment in their akhirah.
Celebrate every letter. Witness the blessings multiply. Only on QuranRecord.
Love and blessings,
QuranRecord Team

QuranJourney — The Heart of QuranRecord
-
QuranJourney — The Heart of QuranRecord
- QuranJourney is one of the most powerful and exciting features in QuranRecord. With just a single click, it presents a student’s recitation as a continuous Quranic journey, instead of scattered daily records.
- It gives management, teachers, and parents a clear and complete picture of the student’s progress, completion, repetitions, and even missing records — all in one place.
- What makes QuranJourney special is that it connects everything. Whether a student reads verses, pages, quarters, halves, or parts of a Juz on different days, QuranJourney intelligently merges them into one connected flow.
-
How QuranJourney Connects the Recitation
- QuranJourney combines recitations recorded across multiple days and sessions and displays them as a single completed segment, exactly how the Quran is meant to be read — continuously and meaningfully.
- Even if a student reads small portions at a time, QuranJourney joins them together and shows the true progress, not just individual entries.
-
Examples
-
Verses:
- A student reads Surah Al-Fātiḥah (1:1–3) on Monday, 1:4–5 on Wednesday, and 1:6–7 on Friday.
- QuranJourney merges all of this and displays 1:1–1:7 as completed, showing the Surah as one continuous recitation.
-
Quarters and Parts:
- A student recites quarter 2 of Juz 10 on one day, quarter 3 on another day, and quarter 4 later.
- QuranJourney merges all parts and shows Juz 10 as completed, even though it was recited in multiple sessions.
-
Juz Recitation Count:
- If a student recites a Juz or part more than once, QuranJourney displays it as 1x, 2x, 3x…, clearly showing how many times each Juz has been recited.
-
Pages and Lines:
- QuranJourney tracks the number of pages recited and automatically calculates partial pages based on lines.
- Example: one record with 2 pages and 10 lines and another with 1 page and 5 lines is combined and rounded as 4 pages (Othmani) or 15 lines (Indo-Pak).
-
Days:
- Displays the total number of days the teacher added recitation records for the student under the selected recitation method.
-
Verses:
-
Access and Download
- Parents can view QuranJourney directly from the student’s profile using the QuranJourney button.
- Teachers and management can access it from the student profile or the class dashboard.
- QuranJourney can be filtered for a single student, multiple students, or all students at once.
- Teachers can download QuranJourney as an PDF file to share with parents or keep for official records.
-
Why QuranJourney Matters
- When records are entered correctly with no missing gaps, QuranRecord proudly displays a “Quran Completed” tag beside the student’s name.
- QuranJourney turns fragmented data into a clear, inspiring, and trustworthy journey, helping students stay motivated and parents stay confident.
- This level of clarity and perfection is only possible with QuranRecord.
